Grandmas cinnamon rolls

This could be the easiest recipe ever!

I have found the hardest part is sometimes finding the dough in the freezer section of my favorite grocery store.

If finding the dough is my biggest challenge to making these awesome cinnamon rolls, than I am doing pretty darn good!

There was an instance when I went thru the making process, made the rolls, and had never turned the oven on.   I know your asking yourself “how does she not know!”.  Lets just say I put the rolls into the oven and set the timer, walked away not thinking twice.

When the timer went off, I was ready to eat some of these delicious rolls!!

Something didn’t seem right, because I never got the wonderful baking aroma of these rolls in the oven in the house.

You know when you know somethings not right, but you don’t think it thru, yup that’s me!+

I grabbed the potholder, opened the oven door, bent over, and waited for all that delicious aroma to hit my nose.

As I grabbed the pan of rolls, pulled them out setting them on the hot pad, It was at that moment, it clicked in my mind, these rolls were raw dough.

The dough had not risen, it was flat, the butter was all cold, and the walnuts looked sad.

It was a real mess and a failure!

Crossing my fingers I was hoping and praying I had more dough in the freezer because now I needed to make the best cinnamon rolls ever.

Thankfully I had more dough and this time pre-heated the oven first thing.

Yes, this batch of Grandmas best sweet cinnamon rolls were perfectly cooked and so delicious.

The cinnamon rolls are sweet, great texture and full of buttery flavor.
