Do you ever get in the mood, where you start thinking about what if ?

Like what if I were to put honey in my rice, or chocolate on my French toast, or sloppy joe into my tater tots?

Suddenly you realize the what if, has now turned into a meal all by itself and you run thru the house yelling at the top of your lungs, ” I did it! I did it!”.

Ignore the blank stares from the dogs and cat, they simply don’t understand culinary creativity.

If you really think this thru, sloppy joes, are rich, hearty, and satisfying all by themselves.

You simply take away the bread and substitute in tater tots; crispy, warm, melt in your mouth tater tots.

The final dish comes together by adding fresh thyme to the sloppy joes and layering the tater tots, sloppy joes, cheese, repeat until all you prepared is used up, sprinkle some cheese on top, pop it in the oven to heat it thru.

Try not to drool too much while you wait at the oven door with fork in hand waiting for that magical moment the dish is ready to dive into!

This meal will feed a family, and the best part it is budget friendly and hearty to fill up those hungry stomachs as the weather outside turns colder.
