Crab Cakes

The secret to these crab cakes is to use the imitation crab meat.

I like to stock up the freezer with packages of imitation crab meat, as it has so many great uses for the recipes I cook.

Crab cakes are one of my go to meals, on my busy weekends.

I can make the mix in the morning, let it soak up flavors all day, and by the time I get home, its ready for me to make the crab cakes.

The onion, garlic and lemon pepper, along with the panko and regular bread crumbs add a burst of flavor and texture in every bite.

I like to cook everything in my cast iron skillets, I luv the way the skillets cook my food.

When you get the oil nice and hot and add in the crab cake, there is no better sound, than the sizzle of a crab cake as it gets one step closer to being on your plate!
